This guide gives an overview of features in the Fireflies free tier.

1. Transcription credits

Transcription credits are tokens that Fireflies uses to transcribe and summarize your meetings.

In the Free plan, you get limited credits based on the platform you've used to create your account.

Here is a table:

Transcription credits are used to:

Summarize meetings transcribed via the bot, Chrome extension, or Fireflies mobile app. (1 credit per summary)
Transcribe uploaded meeting files or calls via dialers (1 credit per transcription.

2. Storage limits

Fireflies free users also get limited storage—the total space available for storing virtual meetings, calls via dialers, audio uploads, and recorded physical meetings.

Limit: 800 mins of storage per seat.

If you reach the storage limit, you must delete old meetings to view new ones.

Note: Upgrade to the Fireflies Business plan to get unlimited storage space.

3. Feed

Meeting feed: a list of key takeaways and action items from your meetings.

Tasks: Automatically extract action items from your meeting and push them to your business apps.

4. Multi-language transcriptions

Transcribe meetings in 60+ languages, including German, Dutch, French, Spanish, and more.

5. Contact management

Easily connect with your meeting contacts. See all your meetings with them, AI bios, and more.

6. Upload past meeting files

Upload past meetings as mp3, mp4, wav, or m4a files to get them transcribed.

Note:

One transcription credit is consumed per uploaded file.
Maximum file size: 100 MB.
Maximum meeting duration: 150 mins.
Upgrade to a paid plan to download transcripts, audio, or video.

7. Public channels

Organize meetings in your Notebook using public channels. By default there are three channels: My Meetings, All Meetings, and Shared with Me.
In the free plan, you can create up to three public channels.

Note: To create unlimited private channels, upgrade to the Business tier.

8. Soundbites and playlists

Manually clip out key moments as Soundbites and share them with your team.
If you have AI credits, you can use AI soundbites to automatically extract clips from a meeting.

Organize your sound bites into different Playlists.

9. Search

Search within or across meetings. Use the search bar to find information across meetings using filters like titles, hosts, and dates.

Access specific parts of the transcripts by typing the specific word.

10. Share settings

Share meetings with teammates, participants, or non-participants by configuring your meeting privacy settings.
Non-participants can view the meeting transcripts without a Fireflies account.

11. AI Summaries and notes

Get customizable AI Summaries with overview, notes, and action items.

Customize the summaries according to your needs.

Expand Summaries by hovering over the notes and clicking on the icon next to it.

12. AI Credits

Free plan users get 20 AI credits. AI Credits are tokens needed to use Fireflies’ AI features like AskFred, AI Soundbites, and to create tailored meeting notes using AI Apps.

13. Add team members

Invite team members to your workspace and get shared transcription credits and storage.

14. Integrations

Integrate with over 50 apps, including video-conferencing apps, CRMs, Project management apps, dialers, and more, without restrictions.

15. Collaborate

Play meeting recordings at 5 different speeds - 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x.
Add comments and replies with timestamps.
Add likes, dislikes, and bookmarks to your meeting recording.
