With TickTick + Fireflies, your meeting action items instantly become trackable tasks—no copy-pasting, no missed follow-ups. Fireflies captures decisions, next steps, and responsibilities from your calls and sends them straight into your TickTick lists.
🔍 What Does the TickTick Integration Do?
Fireflies automatically turns your meeting action items into TickTick tasks—ensuring nothing is missed.
Auto-create tasks from AI-detected action items
Add tasks manually from your meeting page or Notepad
Use rules to control which meetings send tasks
Keep your TickTick lists organized without switching apps
A simple, effortless way to keep your follow-ups on track.
🔑 Prerequisites
Before connecting TickTick with Fireflies, make sure you have:
Active TickTick account → Any TickTick plan works.
Fireflies account → Log in to your Fireflies workspace to set up the integration.
Once these are ready, you can connect TickTick and Fireflies in just a few clicks.
🔗 Connect Fireflies with TickTick
Step 1: Log in to your Fireflies account, go to the Integrations page, and search for TickTick. Click on it to get started.

Step 2: Click the Connect button, and you’ll be redirected to the TickTick login page. After signing in, you’ll automatically move to the authorization page to grant Fireflies access.

Step 3: Click the Allow button to allow Fireflies to create and manage tasks in your TickTick workspace.

Step 4: Once approved, you’ll be redirected back to Fireflies to configure your integration setup.

⚙ Setting Up Your Configuration
Step 1: Select Your TickTick Project
Choose the TickTick project where you want Fireflies to create tasks. This keeps all your meeting action items organized in the right place.
If your TickTick project doesn’t appear, create it in TickTick first and refresh the page.

Step 2: Enable Task Filtering (Optional)
Turn on “Only push tasks assigned to me” to create tasks only for items assigned to you; turn it off to create tasks for all meeting action items.

Step 3: Create a Sample Task in TickTick
Before going live, you can quickly test your setup to make sure everything works smoothly.
Click Create Sample Task in TickTick → Fireflies will instantly add a test task to the project you selected.
Open TickTick to confirm the sample task appears in the correct project.
Once confirmed, click Continue to proceed.
This test doesn’t affect your real projects—it’s just to confirm your integration is connected correctly.

🧩 Additional Options – Integration Rules
By default, Fireflies creates tasks in TickTick for every meeting. That works well if you want to capture everything—but it can also clutter your task lists. Integration Rules let you control which meetings send tasks to TickTick, so only the important action items make it through.
Integration Rules are available on Business or higher plans.

🗂 All Meetings
Create TickTick tasks from every meeting — client calls, team syncs, standups, and more — with no filters applied.
📝 Meeting Title
Create tasks only when the meeting title matches your chosen rules (Contains, Starts with, Equals, Doesn’t Contain).
Example: Only create tasks for meetings titled “Client Review” or “Weekly Planning.”
Add multiple keywords using commas (e.g., Interview, Review, Demo).
👤 Meeting Host
Filter tasks based on who hosted the meeting.
Equals → Only create tasks from meetings hosted by john@example.com.
Not Equal → Create tasks from all meetings except those hosted by John.
👥 Meeting Participants
Choose which meetings create tasks based on who attended.
Contains → Only create tasks when sara@example.com attends.
Doesn’t Contain → Skip meetings that included alex@example.com.
🎦 Meeting Type
Filter by meeting type if you want tasks only from specific categories.
Example: Equals External → Only create tasks for external or client-facing meetings.
🔀 Apply Multiple Filters
Combine rules to get precise control over which meetings send tasks to TickTick.
Example: Title contains Review AND host is john@example.com.
Use AND (all conditions must match) or OR (any one matches).

You can see all the filters you’ve applied in your configuration. For example, tasks will only be created in Linear for meetings that meet all of these criteria:
Example: Title contains Interview, host = John, participant = Mary, type = External.

💾 Save Your Configuration
Click Save to activate the integration — a flash message will confirm that your configuration has been successfully added.

You can set up multiple configurations — for example, one for internal meetings and another for client calls.
👥 Team Options
If you don’t want every teammate creating their own TickTick configurations—or if you need consistent task routing across the organization—Integration Scope gives workspace admins full control over how the TickTick integration is used.
Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to your TickTick integration and select Team Options.
You’ll see two settings you can control:
Apply to entire workspace → Toggle this ON to use a single shared TickTick configuration for your whole team.
Meetings that are set to private in a teammate’s Privacy Settings won’t be pushed to TickTick unless you’re a Super Admin who can access meetings irrespective of team privacy settings.
Restrict non-admin usage → Toggle this ON to stop team members from creating their own TickTick setups. This is ideal for teams that need compliance, organization standards, or a single source of truth for tasks.
After adjusting the toggles to fit your team’s workflow, click Save to apply the changes.
Use workspace-level control if you want a clean, unified task workflow. Use personal configuration if teammates prefer managing their own TickTick task lists independently.

🛠 Manage Configuration
As your workflow evolves, you may want to adjust your TickTick integration — like renaming a configuration, choosing a different project, or removing setups you no longer use. Fireflies makes all of this simple to manage.
✏ Edit Configuration Name → Give each TickTick configuration a clear, descriptive name so it’s easy to recognize—especially if you’re sending tasks to different TickTick lists. Click the configuration name (for example, Default Configuration), type the new name (like Meeting Follow-Up Tasks), and click outside the field to save.
Clear names are especially useful when you’re managing several configurations across different projects.

⚙ Edit Configuration Settings → Need to change where your meeting tasks go in TickTick? Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to a configuration, select Edit, choose a different project or adjust your task-filtering options, and click Update to save your changes.

🗑 Delete Configuration → If a configuration is no longer needed (for example, a project wraps up or your team moves to a different TickTick project), you can safely delete it. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the configuration, select Delete, and confirm.
Deleting a configuration means Fireflies will stop creating tasks in that TickTick project. Make sure it’s no longer needed before removing it.

🔘 Enable or Disable a Configuration → Use the toggle switch next to a configuration to control it instantly. Toggle ON to let Fireflies create tasks in your selected TickTick project; toggle OFF to pause task creation without deleting the setup.
This is helpful if you have multiple TickTick configurations—you can keep one active and pause the others whenever needed.

❌ Disconnect Integration
If you no longer need Fireflies connected to TickTick—for example, when a project ends or your team switches to a different task management tool—you can disconnect it at any time with a single click.
Click the Disconnect button to remove the TickTick integration. This will immediately end the connection, and Fireflies will stop creating new tasks in TickTick.
Once disconnected, Fireflies will stop sending tasks to TickTick, but you can reconnect anytime when needed.
