How to Upgrade Your Fireflies Subscription
As your team's workflow demands more features—like video recording, unlimited integrations, or custom AI apps—upgrading your Fireflies subscription is the logical next step. Scaling up your account is instant and can be handled entirely from your dashboard in just a few clicks.

🔑 Prerequisites
Role: You must be the current Billing Admin to change subscription plans.
Eligible Plans: Free-tier users can upgrade to Pro plan
Pro plan users can upgrade to Business plan
Business plan users can upgrade to Enterprise plan
Billing Impact: Upgrades happen immediately. You will be charged the prorated difference for the new plan for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
🚀 Upgrading Your Subscription
Follow these steps to unlock premium features for your workspace:
Step 1: Access your Settings
From your Fireflies dashboard, navigate to the left-hand sidebar and click on Settings.
Step 2: Navigate to Billing
Inside the Settings menu, select the Billing tab. This is where you’ll see your current plan, usage, and payment history.
Step 3: Initiate the Upgrade
Just below your current plan details, look for the upgrade banner. Click the purple Upgrade button inside this banner.
Step 4: Review and Confirm Details
An upgrade summary modal will appear. The left side outlines the new features you are unlocking. On the right side, configure your new plan:
Adjust the Number of seats if you need to add more team members.
Select your Billing cycle (toggle between Monthly or Annual to see your savings).
Review the pricing breakdown and confirm your selected Card for payment.
Once everything looks correct, click the purple Upgrade button at the bottom right.
Step 5: Verify the Change
You will be securely routed through the payment gateway to process payment. Once successful, your billing dashboard will refresh, and your newly upgraded plan will be reflected immediately in the PLAN section. You and your team can start using the new features right away.
Pro plan users will be upgraded to Business plan , Business plan users will be upgraded to Enterprise plan.
🔍 Troubleshooting / FAQs
When does the upgrade take effect? Immediately! As soon as the payment is successfully processed, your workspace unlocks the premium features associated with your new tier.
How am I charged for a mid-cycle upgrade? Fireflies calculates the exact prorated amount for the time remaining in your current billing cycle. You only pay the difference between your old plan and the new plan for those remaining days.
Can I change from Monthly to Annual during an upgrade? Yes. In the upgrade summary modal, simply click the "Annual" toggle under the Billing cycle section. This will apply the annual discount to your new plan.
