How to Integrate HoneyBook with Fireflies

Last updated: October 23, 2026

The HoneyBook + Fireflies integration helps you manage meeting follow-ups by turning action items into HoneyBook tasks and adding meeting notes to existing contacts.

Letโ€™s get started ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿ” What Does the HoneyBook Integration Do?

With HoneyBook + Fireflies, you can:

  • Create tasks โ€” Turn meeting action items into tasks in a selected HoneyBook project.

  • Create contacts โ€” Automatically create HoneyBook contacts for meeting participants who aren't already in your account.

  • Log meeting notes โ€” Add meeting notes to existing HoneyBook contacts.

๐Ÿ”‘ Prerequisites

Before setting up the HoneyBook integration, make sure you have:

๐Ÿ”— Connect Fireflies to HoneyBook

Step 1: Log in to your Fireflies account, go to the Integrations page, and search for Honeybook. Click on it to get started.

Step 2: Click Connect.

Step 3: If prompted, log in to your HoneyBook account to complete the authorization process.

Step 4: Review the access permissions requested by Fireflies in HoneyBook and click Authorize access to grant the required permissions.

Once approved, youโ€™ll be redirected back to Fireflies to configure your integration setup.

โš™ Setting Up Your Configuration

Step 1: Select a HoneyBook Project

Choose the HoneyBook project where Fireflies should create tasks from meeting action items.

  • Select a project from the dropdown list.

  • After selecting the project, click Continue to proceed.

Step 2: Create contacts from new meeting participants

Enabled by default. Fireflies automatically creates HoneyBook contacts for meeting participants who aren't already in your account. Disable this option if you don't want new contacts created.

Click Continue to proceed to the additional configuration options.

๐Ÿงฉ Additional Options โ€“ Integration Rules

By default, Fireflies sends meeting notes to Honeybook for every meeting. If you want more control, you can use Integration Rules to decide which meetings get added.

Integration Rules are available on Business or higher plans.

๐Ÿ’ก Learn more about our different pricing plans and how to get started.

๐Ÿ—‚ All Meetings
Send notes from every meeting โ€” calls, check-ins, or demos โ€” with no filters applied.

๐Ÿ“ Meeting Title
Only send notes when the meeting title matches specific rules (Contains, Starts with, Equals, Doesnโ€™t Contain).
Example: โ€œDemoโ€, โ€œClient Callโ€

๐Ÿ‘ค Meeting Host
Filter meetings based on who hosted them.

  • Equals โ†’ Only meetings hosted by a specific person

  • Not Equal โ†’ Exclude meetings hosted by a specific person

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Meeting Participants
Control which meetings are included based on attendees.

  • Contains โ†’ Include meetings with specific participants

  • Doesnโ€™t Contain โ†’ Exclude meetings with certain participants

๐ŸŽฆ Meeting Type
Filter by meeting type.
Example: External โ†’ Only external meetings

๐Ÿ”€ Apply Multiple Filters
Combine rules for more precise control.
Example: Title contains โ€œDemoโ€ AND host is sales@company.com

You can view all the filters currently applied to your configuration. Fireflies will only send notes to Honeybook for meetings that match all the conditions youโ€™ve set.

โœ… Example applied: Title contains Interview, host = John, participant = Mary, type = External.

๐Ÿ’พ Save Your Configuration

Click Save to activate the integration โ€” a flash message will confirm that your configuration has been successfully added.

You can set up multiple configurations โ€” for example, one for internal meetings and another for client calls.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Team Integration Settings

Workspace admins can control how the Honeybook integration is used across their team. The available options depend on your plan and workspace role.

Click the vertical ellipsis (โ‹ฎ) next to your Honeybook and select Team Permissions from the dropdown list.

Business and Enterprise

If you are a Workspace Admin on a Business or Enterprise plan, you can manage granular Integration Permissions for the integration, including who can access and connect it.

๐Ÿ“– See Integration Permissions: Control Who Can Access and Connect Integrations for detailed instructions on managing integration permissions.

Free and Pro

Free and Pro users do not have access to the full Integration Permissions dashboard. Instead, Team Permissions opens a modal with the available workspace-level settings.

  • Apply to entire workspace โ†’ Toggle this ON to apply the Honeybook integration across your Fireflies workspace. All team meetings accessible by the team admin will have notes sent to Honeybook, keeping everything centralized.

๐Ÿ“ŒMeetings that are set to private in a teammateโ€™s Privacy Settings wonโ€™t be pushed to Honeybook unless youโ€™re a Super Admin who can access meetings regardless of privacy settings.

  • Restrict non-admin usage โ†’ Toggle this ON to prevent non-admin members from creating their own Honeybook configurations. This helps maintain consistent data practices and avoids accidental CRM clutter.

After adjusting the toggles to fit your teamโ€™s workflow, click Save to apply the changes.

Note: Business and Enterprise Workspace Admins have access to granular integration permissions, while Free and Pro workspaces have more limited workspace-level controls.

๐Ÿ›  Manage Configuration

Over time, you may need to update your Honeybook integration โ€” for example, to rename a configuration, update its settings, or remove configurations you no longer use. Fireflies provides a few simple options to manage this.

  • โœ Edit Configuration Name โ†’ Give each Honeybook configuration a clear, descriptive name so it's easy to recognize. Click the configuration name (for example, Default Configuration), type a new name (such as Customer Call Notes), and click outside the field to save.

  • โš™ Edit Configuration Settings โ†’ Need to update your integration rules or settings? Click the vertical ellipsis (โ‹ฎ) next to a configuration, select Edit, update the settings and click Update to save your changes.

  • ๐Ÿ”˜ Enable or Disable a Configuration โ†’ Use the toggle next to a configuration to control it quickly. Toggle ON to send meeting notes to Honeybook; toggle OFF to pause the integration without deleting it.

This is helpful if you have multiple configurations and only want one active at a time.

  • ๐Ÿ—‘ Delete Configuration โ†’ If a configuration is no longer needed (for example, you no longer want notes added to Honeybook), you can delete it. Click the vertical ellipsis (โ‹ฎ) next to the configuration, select Delete, and confirm.

Deleting a configuration stops that configuration from running, so make sure you no longer need it before removing it.

๐Ÿ“ค How Meeting Notes Appear in Honeybook

Once the integration is set up, Fireflies adds meeting notes to existing HoneyBook contacts and creates tasks in the selected project from meeting action items.

  • Meeting notes โ€” Find the notes on the relevant HoneyBook contact.

  • Tasks โ€” Check the selected HoneyBook project for tasks created from meeting action items.

This helps you keep client conversations and meeting follow-ups organized in HoneyBook.

โช Push Past Meetings to Honeybook

Sometimes, the meetings you want in Honeybook happened before you connected the integration. Whether you enabled the integration later or simply want to add older meeting notes to your CRM, Push Past Meetings lets you choose a date range and meeting type, then send those meetings to Honeybook in just a few clicks.

Note: Make sure you've connected Honeybook and created at least one push configuration before using Push Past Meetings. If you haven't, complete the Setting Up Your Configuration section above first.

Follow the steps below to push past meetings to Honeybook.

  1. From the Honeybook integration page, click Push past meetings.

  2. A dialog box will appear. Choose the following:

  • Date range โ†’ Select the meetings you want to send by choosing Last 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days, or specify a custom date range.

  • Meetings to push โ†’ Choose whether to push Meetings I Joined, Meetings I organized or joined, or All meetings I have access to.

  • Re-push already synced meetings โ†’ Keep this checked if you want to resend meetings that were previously pushed to Webhooks. This may create duplicates. Uncheck it to send only meetings that haven't been pushed before.

  1. Click Push to review the number of meetings selected for pushing based on your selected date range and meeting criteria.

  2. Click Push [number] meetings to confirm and send the selected meetings to Honeybook.

Meetings recorded after you connect Honeybook are sent automatically. Push Past Meetings is only needed for meetings that happened before the integration was connected.

โŒ Disconnect Integration

If you no longer need Fireflies connected to Honeybook, you can disconnect the integration at any time.

Click Disconnect to remove the integration. Fireflies will stop sending meeting notes to people and companies in Honeybook.

Once disconnected, Fireflies will stop adding meeting notes to Honeybook. You can always reconnect later if needed.
