This guide explains how to configure the meeting recap email setting.
What are email recap settings
Email recap settings determines who should receive the meeting recaps emails from Fireflies after each meeting. The recap email contains a link to the meeting notes and a quick overview section.
You can control who receives these recaps by adjusting your send email recap to settings:
How to access meeting recap settings
There are two ways to access the email meeting recap settings.
- From your home dashboard, click on the Send email recap to dropdown.
- From the Settings page, access the Email Settings option.
Set meeting recap values
- You can set any of these values to your meeting recap email settings.
- Everyone on the invite: Recap emails go to all meeting participants.
- Only me and participants from my Fireflies team: Recaps go to you and participants from your workspace
- Only me: Recaps go only to you

- Once configured, authorized participants will receive a recap email shortly after the meeting.
- Participants can click on View meeting recap to view the full meeting summary and transcript.
Customize the meeting recap email
- By default, every meeting recap includes a Meeting Overview section.

If you prefer not to include the meeting overview in every email recap, you can change that in the Settings tab. Navigate to Settings, go to Email Settings and click Customize.
- Select "Action Items," "Meeting Notes," or "Key Highlights" as alternatives to the meeting Overview and click Save.

If you'd prefer not to include any of these sections in your email recaps, simply disable the checkbox and Fireflies will only include a link to view the meeting recaps.
