This guide gives a brief overview of the Private Storage feature.
What is Private Storage
- Allows data to be stored in your private storage bucket in your preferred location.
- Gives you maximum control and privacy for your data.
- Helps meet data compliance requirements.
- Data is encrypted and accessible only to you.
- Available only to users on the Fireflies Enterprise plan.
Note: Your data will be stored in the location you specify in your private storage bucket, but processed on Fireflies.ai's servers in the United States.

How to access Private Storage
There are two ways to access Private Storage.
- From the Fireflies dashboard, click Team.
- Click the Settings icon.
- Here, you can access Private Storage from Team Settings.
- Or, go to Settings > Billing and Setup Private Storage.
How to manage Private Storage
1. Enable Private Storage
- To enable Private Storage, go to Team Settings and enable the Private Storage toggle.
- Click Get Private Storage.
- Assign a Bucket Name, select a preferred storage location, and click Setup private storage.
- Your data will now be stored in your selected location by default.
2. Disable Private Storage
- Go to Settings>Team settings.
- Disable the Private Storage toggle.
- Select Disable.
- Your meeting data will be stored on Fireflies’s secure servers located in the US.
Note: By default, your data is stored and processed in the Fireflies servers located in the US.
