Understand Fireflies’ refund policy

This guide explains when you’re eligible for a refund, how much you can expect to receive, and how to request one. It’s part of our broader billing help:

🧾 When are refunds available?

Fireflies offers refunds based on your plan type and usage:

Monthly plans

You’re eligible for a full refund if:

  • You’ve used Fireflies for 7 days or less, and

  • You’ve logged 3 meetings or fewer

You’re eligible for a pro-rated refund if:

  • You’ve used Fireflies for more than 7 days, or

  • You’ve logged more than 3 meetings

Annual plans

You’re eligible for a full refund if:

  • You’ve used Fireflies for 7 days or less, and

  • You’ve logged 20 meetings or fewer

Pro-rated refunds are not available on annual plans

📌 Important notes

  • Refunds apply only to Fireflies subscription plans, not AI Credits add-ons

  • Refunds take 5–10 business days to reflect on your original payment method

💳 Do I need a saved card?

Yes — your card details must be stored in your Fireflies account to process a refund.

🤔 Why do we have this policy?

This ensures fairness and prevents misuse, like uploading lots of meetings and requesting a refund immediately after.

📩 How to request a refund

  1. Go to your Fireflies dashboard

  2. Click on Purple Chat Widget (bottom right corner of the Fireflies app, not this page)

  3. Select Contact Support and ask for a refund

🧠 Making sense of it all

  • Full refunds are possible within the first 7 days, based on usage

  • Pro-rated refunds apply only to monthly plans

  • AI Credits purchases are non-refundable

  • Refunds take 5–10 business days to process
