How to send AI Skill outputs to any integrated tool

Last updated: March 17, 2026

AI Skills can now send their outputs—summaries, insights, scorecards, reports, and more—directly to your storage tools like Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, S3, and others.

Whether you're running an AI Skill on a single meeting or analyzing multiple meetings at scale, you can automatically export those results into the folders you already use to organize your content.

This guide will help you understand how AI Skills work with storage integrations, and how you can set up these automated workflows from either the Integrations page or the AI Skills page—whichever is easier.

AI Skills now support storage integrations. Support for AI Skills with other integrations is coming soon. Stay tuned!

🔑 Prerequisites

To send AI skill outputs to your storage tools, here’s all you need:

  • At least one supported integration is connected (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, Amazon S3, and more)

  • An AI Skill you want to send outputs from (either newly created or already in your My Skills list)

That’s it—once these are ready, you can choose whether to configure the integration from the Integration page or directly inside the AI skill.

Both paths work the same, so you can use whichever feels easier.

🛠 Manage AI Skill Configuration

As your workflows evolve, you may want to update how your AI Skill sends outputs to your connected storage tools—such as changing the output folder, switching formats, or adjusting where files are saved. Fireflies gives you full control with a few quick actions:

  • Edit Configuration Name → Give each AI Skill configuration a clear, descriptive name so it’s easy to identify later—especially helpful when you have multiple AI Skills connected to different storage folders. Just click the configuration name (e.g., Default Configuration), type a new name (e.g., Sales Summaries or FYI Sales), and click outside the field to save.

Clear names help you quickly recognize which AI Skill sends outputs to which storage location.

  • Edit Configuration Settings → Need to update how your AI Skill sends outputs to your connected storage tool? Click the vertical ellipsis () next to the configuration, select Edit, choose a different folder or output format (PDF, DOCX), and click Update to save your changes.

Use this when you want to change where the AI Skill saves files or adjust how the output is generated for your storage integration.

  • 🗑 Delete Configuration → If a configuration is no longer needed—such as when you stop sending AI Skill outputs to a specific storage folder—you can safely delete it. Click the vertical ellipsis () next to the configuration, select Delete, and confirm.

Deleting a configuration means Fireflies will stop sending AI Skill outputs to that storage integration, so be sure it’s no longer required before removing it.

  • 🔘 Enable or Disable a Configuration → Use the toggle switch next to a configuration to quickly control it. Toggle ON to automatically send AI Skill outputs to your connected storage tool, or toggle OFF to pause the integration without deleting it.

This is especially useful when you have multiple AI Skills connected to different storage folders and only want certain configurations active. Fireflies remembers your settings when you turn configurations back on.

Recorded_screen_1_V1 (52) (1).gif
  • Add AI Skill Configuration → You can run multiple AI Skills on the same meeting—just click “+ AI Skills” and select the skills you want to run.

Each skill generates its own output, so you can run different analyses (Sales, Finance, Follow-up) on the same meeting without any conflict.

📤 Viewing AI Skill Outputs in Your Storage Integration

Once your AI Skill runs, Fireflies automatically sends the output to the folder you selected in your storage tool.

Here’s an example of how it appears in Dropbox:

  1. Fireflies creates a Fireflies AI Skills subfolder inside your main Fireflies folder.

  2. Inside it, you’ll find the AI Skill output file—containing:

  • The meeting title

  • A link to the meeting recording

  • The AI Skill content/output

  • Fireflies branding at the footer

Fireflies also supports tables for compatible AI Skills, and they are included in the output file when sent to integrations.

Disconnect Integration

If you no longer want an AI Skill to send outputs to a specific storage integration—such as when changing folders, reorganizing workflows, or switching tools—you can disconnect it at any time.

Click the Disconnect button to remove the integration from the AI Skill. Once disconnected, Fireflies will stop sending outputs from that skill to the storage tool.

After disconnecting, no AI Skill outputs will be sent to that storage integration. You can reconnect it anytime if needed.
