How to Integrate Notion with Fireflies
Last updated: June 8, 2026
Keeping meeting notes organized in Notion should be simple. With the Notion + Fireflies integration, you can automatically send meeting notes to your Notion workspace and keep everything organized in one place.
Letโs get started ๐
๐ What does the Notion integration do?
This integration automatically sends meeting notes from Fireflies to your Notion workspace, making it easy to organize meeting insights and collaborate with your team.
Here's what it helps you do:
Automatically send meeting notes to Notion
Log notes to either Notion Pages or Notion Databases
Keep meeting summaries, transcripts, and action items organized in one place
Create a centralized knowledge base for your meetings
Reduce manual copying and pasting between Fireflies and Notion
A simple way to keep your meeting knowledge organized and accessible inside Notion.
๐ Prerequisites
Before connecting Notion with Fireflies, make sure:
An active Fireflies account.
You have a Notion account with access/permission to the workspace where notes will be stored.
The destination page or database already exists in Notion (recommended).
Admin access in Fireflies (required for team-wide integrations).
Once these are ready, you can connect the integration.
๐ Connect Notion to Fireflies
Step 1: Log in to your Fireflies account, Navigate to the Integrations page, and search for Notion. Click on it to get started.

Step 2: Click Connect and you'll be redirected to the Notion sign-in page.

Step 3: Complete the Notion authentication process using your preferred sign-in method (email, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Passkey, or SSO).

Step 4: Review the permissions requested by Fireflies and click Next.

Step 5: Choose one of the following options for how Fireflies should store meeting notes in Notion.
Use a template provided by the developer to automatically create a Notion database for storing meeting notes, then click Allow access.

Select pages to share with Fireflies.ai to store meeting notes as sub-pages under an existing Notion page. After clicking Select pages, choose the page you want Fireflies to access and click Allow access.

Step 6: Once access is granted, you'll be redirected back to Fireflies to complete the integration setup.

โ Setting Up Your Configuration
Step 1: Select a Page or Database
Choose the Notion page or database where you want Fireflies to save meeting notes, then select it from the dropdown list and click Continue.
Important: If you select a database, Fireflies will automatically add any required columns that don't already exist. Existing columns will not be modified or overwritten.

Step 2: Configure the Meeting Title
Choose whether you want Fireflies to automatically add the meeting date to the title.
Add date to title โ Enable this option to automatically include the meeting date in the title of each note created in Notion (e.g., Fireflies.ai Sample Meeting - Jun 2, 2026 (Fireflies)).
Once you've set your preference, click Continue.

Step 3: Configure Meeting Output Preferences
Choose what meeting data you want Fireflies to save in Notion.
Save meeting summaries โ When enabled, Fireflies will automatically save a summary note to Notion after a meeting ends.
Save meeting transcripts โ When enabled, Fireflies will also save the full meeting transcript to Notion after a meeting ends.
Once you've set your preferences, click Continue to proceed.

Step 4: Create a Sample Note
Before going live, it's a good idea to make sure everything is working correctly.
Click Create a sample note โ Fireflies will generate a sample note and save it to the selected Notion page or database.
Open Notion and verify that the sample note appears in the correct location.
Once verified, click Continue to complete the setup.

This test won't affect your real meetings - it simply confirms that Fireflies can successfully send meeting notes to Notion.
๐งฉ Additional Options โ Integration Rules
By default, Fireflies sends meeting notes to Notion for every meeting. While this ensures full coverage, you may not want every meeting added to your workspace.
Integration Rules allows you control which meetings are sent to Notion, so only relevant meetings are logged.
Integration Rules are available on Business or higher plans.

๐ All Meetings
Automatically send notes from every meeting to your Notion with no filters applied.
๐ Meeting Title
Send meeting notes to Google docs only when the meeting title matches the rules you set (Contains, Starts with, Equals, Doesnโt Contain).
Example: Save meetings titled Client Review or Interview.
Add multiple keywords separated by commas (e.g., Interview, Client Review, Demo).
๐ค Meeting Host
Control which meetings are included based on who hosted the meeting.
Equals โ Include only meetings hosted by john@example.com
Not Equal โ Include all meetings except those hosted by john@example.com
๐ฅ Meeting Participants
Filter meetings based on who attended.
Contains โ Include meetings where sara@example.com attended
Doesnโt Contain โ Exclude meetings that included alex@example.com
๐ฆ Meeting Type
Filter meetings by type.
Example: Equals โ External โ Only external meetings are saved as Notion.
๐ Apply Multiple Filters
Combine multiple filters for more precise control.
Example
Meeting title contains Interview AND host is john@example.com.
Rules can use AND (all conditions must match) or OR (any condition matches).

You can view all the filters applied to your configuration. In this example, meeting notes are saved as Notion only when all the selected conditions are met.
โ Example applied: Title contains "Interview", host = "John", participant = "Mary", type = "External".

๐พ Save Your Configuration
Click Save to activate the integration โ a flash message will confirm that your configuration has been successfully added.

You can create multiple configurations by clicking the + Add Configuration button - for example, one configuration for internal meetings and another for client calls.
๐ฅ Team Options
Sometimes, you may not want every teammate creating their own Notion configurations - especially if you want meeting notes stored in a consistent location. Team Options allow workspace admins to control how the integration is used across the team.
1. Click the vertical ellipsis (โฎ) next to your Notion integration and select Team Options.
2. A modal window will appear with these options:
Apply to entire workspace โ Toggle this ON to apply the integration across your Fireflies workspace. All team meetings accessible by the team admin will have notes sent to Notion, keeping everything centralized.
๐ Meetings set to private in a teammate's Privacy Settings won't be added unless you're a Super Admin who can access meetings regardless of team privacy settings.
Restrict non-admin usage โ Toggle this ON to prevent non-admin members from creating their own Notion configurations. This helps maintain a consistent workspace structure and organization.
3. After adjusting the toggles to fit your team's workflow, click Save to apply the changes.

Use workspace-level settings for shared or company-wide meeting logs, and personal configurations when individuals prefer to manage their own Notion configurations.
๐ Manage Configuration
Over time, you may need to update your Notion integration - whether it's renaming a configuration, changing the destination page/database, updating rules, or removing configurations you no longer use. Fireflies provides a few simple options to manage this.
โ Edit Configuration Name โ Give each Notion configuration a clear, descriptive name so it's easy to recognize. Click the configuration name (for example, Default Configuration), type a new name (such as Team Meeting Notes), and click outside the field to save.

โ Edit Configuration Settings โ Need to update your selected Notion page/database, output preferences, or integration rules? Click the vertical ellipsis (โฎ) next to a configuration, select Edit, update the settings, and click Update to save your changes.

๐ Enable or Disable a Configuration โ Use the toggle next to a configuration to control it quickly. Toggle ON to allow Fireflies to save meeting notes as Notion; toggle OFF to pause the integration without deleting it.

This is helpful if you have multiple configurations and only want one active at a time.
๐ Delete Configuration โ If a configuration is no longer needed (for example, you no longer want meeting notes saved to Notion), you can delete it. Click the vertical ellipsis (โฎ) next to the configuration, select Delete, and confirm.

Deleting a configuration stops Fireflies from sending new meeting notes to Notion. Existing notes already stored in Notion will not be removed.
๐ค How Meeting Notes Appear in Notion
Once your integration is active, Fireflies automatically sends meeting notes to Notion. The way notes are stored depends on the option you selected during setup.
โ Option A: Use a Template Provided by the Developer
This option provides a structured view of your meetings in a Notion database.
Select Use a template provided by the developer during setup.
Fireflies automatically creates a Notion database in your workspace.
Every meeting is added as a new database entry.

Each database entry includes details such as the Meeting Title, Host, Date, Gist (Overview), Invited Participants, Actual Attendees, Summary & Bullet Notes, Action Items, and Transcript Link.

This option is ideal if you want to search, filter, sort, and manage meeting notes in a structured format.
๐ Option B: Use a Notion Page
This is the classic Fireflies setup you might already be using.
Click Select pages to share with Fireflies.ai during setup.
Choose a parent page in Notion.
Fireflies creates a new sub-page under the selected parent page for every meeting.
Each sub-page includes the meeting summary, keywords, action items, meeting link, and transcript link.

๐ Already using the page setup? You donโt need to change anything. But you can switch to database view anytime by reconnecting.
โ Manually Send Meeting Notes to Notion
Prefer sending only certain meetings to Notion? Fireflies also allows you manually send meeting notes directly from the Notepad.
This is helpful when you want to review or edit notes first and then send only the relevant conversations to a specific Notion page or database - without relying on automation rules or integration configurations.

โ Send AI Skill Outputs to Notion
Want to send more than just meeting notes to Notion? Fireflies also allows you send AI skills outputs directly to your connected Notion page or database.
This is helpful when you want custom AI-generated content, such as project updates, customer insights, follow-up emails, call analyses, or action item reports - automatically saved to Notion for your team to review and collaborate on.

โ Disconnect Integration
If you no longer need Fireflies connected to Notion, you can disconnect the integration at any time.
Click Disconnect to remove the Notion integration. This immediately ends the connection, and Fireflies will stop sending meeting notes to your Notion pages or databases.

Once disconnected, Fireflies will no longer sync new meeting notes to Notion. You can reconnect the integration anytime if needed.
