Add Lifesize link to your Google or Outlook Calendar

Before inviting Fireflies to your meeting, you need to add the Lifesize link to your calendar connected to your Fireflies account. (using a Google or Outlook calendar). Here are the steps to do that.

Go to webapp.lifesize.com and log in to your Lifesize account.
Click Upcoming from the left.

Connect the Google or Microsoft calendar connected to your Fireflies account.

You will need to authenticate Lifesize to access your calendar events.

Once your calendar is connected, schedule a new meeting from the homepage or Upcoming tab.

Enter a meeting name and click Next.

Click Calendar.

This will redirect you to your calendar and create a new event with all the meeting details.

Ways to invite Fireflies to Lifesize meetings

1. Invite Fireflies manually as a guest

If you've set the auto-join calendar meetings to manual, add fred@fireflies.ai as a guest and click Save.

2. Invite Fireflies to a live meeting

If you've set the auto-join calendar meetings to manual, and forgot to invite Fireflies as a guest, you can invite Fireflies using the Add to Live meeting button. Here’s how:

Go to your Lifesize Meetings tab, click on the Meeting and copy the meeting link.

Go to the Fireflies web app and click Add to live meeting.

Paste the lifesize meeting link within the Meeting link field and click Start Capturing.

3. Automatically invite Fireflies to your meetings

Alternatively go to Fireflies web app and set the auto-join calendar meetings to automatically join your meetings.

How Fireflies joins your meeting

Fireflies will join your meeting a few minutes before it starts. You’ll be able to see Fred as a participant in your meeting, silently recording the meeting and taking notes.
