How to Integrate Any.do with Fireflies

Last updated: December 30, 2025

After every meeting, there’s always a list of things to do — and adding them manually can take time. The Any.do + Fireflies integration makes this easy by automatically turning your meeting tasks into Any.do to-dos, so you don’t have to do it yourself.

It’s perfect for anyone who wants to stay organized and keep track of follow-ups without extra effort.

Let’s get started 🚀

🔍 What Does the Any.do Integration Do?

The Any.do + Fireflies integration adds your meeting action items to Any.do right after each call — no manual work needed.

It helps you:

  • Add tasks automatically: Action items appear in Any.do as soon as your meeting ends.

  • 🗂 Stay organized: All personal and team tasks are neatly grouped in one place.

  • Save time: Skip the copy-paste — your follow-ups are ready to go instantly.

🔑 Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Any.do Account → You’ll need access to the workspace where tasks will be added.

  • Fireflies Account → Log in to your Fireflies workspace where integrations are enabled.

If you’re part of a team, make sure your Any.do workspace and boards are already set up — Fireflies will only add tasks to existing spaces, boards, and sections.

🔗 Connect Any.do to Fireflies

Step 1: Log in to your Fireflies account, click on the Integrations tab, and search for Any.do. Click on it to get started.

Setting Up Your Configuration

Step 1: Select Your Space and Board

Choose where Fireflies will add your meeting tasks inside Any.do. This helps keep everything organized and easy to track later.

  • Select your space → Open the dropdown and pick the space where tasks should go (for example, Begawn).

  • Pick a board → Within that space, choose the board where your tasks should appear (for example, Fireflies Demo Board).

If you already have a space and board in Any.do, they’ll appear in the list. If not, create them first — for example, a board named Fireflies Tasks to keep all meeting items in one place.

Step 2: Select Your Section and Task Preference

Choose where your meeting tasks should appear inside the board and decide whether to include only your own tasks or all meeting tasks.

  • Select your section → Pick the section in your board where new tasks should go (for example, Fireflies Demo).

  • Task preference → By default, Fireflies adds all meeting tasks. Turn on the toggle if you only want to see your assigned tasks.

You can always change this later if you want to focus only on your personal action items.

Step 3: Create a Sample Task in Any.do

Before going live, it’s a good idea to make sure everything is set up correctly. Fireflies lets you test the connection in just one click.

  • Click “Create Sample Task in Any.do → Fireflies will instantly add a sample task to the section you selected.

  • Open Any.do to confirm the task appears in the right space, board, and section.

Once you’ve verified it, click Continue to move forward.

This test won’t affect your real meetings — it’s only to confirm that the integration is working properly.

🧩 Additional Options – Integration Rules

By default, Fireflies adds all meeting action items to Any.do. While that keeps everything captured, it can also make your task list busier than you need. Integration Rules let you choose which meetings create tasks — so only the ones that matter appear in your Any.do workspace.

Integration Rules are available on Business or higher plans.

🗂 All Meetings

Create tasks from every meeting — client calls, team syncs, check-ins — without applying any filters.

📝 Meeting Title

Only create tasks when the meeting title matches the conditions you set (Contains, Starts with, Equals, or Doesn’t Contain).

Example: Only create tasks for meetings titled Client Review or Weekly Update.

Add multiple keywords separated by commas (e.g., Demo, Review, Interview).

👤 Meeting Host

Filter tasks based on who hosted the meeting.

👥 Meeting Participants

Filter tasks by meeting attendees.

🎦 Meeting Type

Filter tasks by meeting type.

  • Example: Equals External → Only create tasks for external meetings.

🔀 Apply Multiple Filters

Combine filters to narrow down which meetings send tasks to Any.do.

  • Example: Title contains Demo AND host is john@example.com.

  • You can use AND (all conditions must match) or OR (any condition matches).

You can see all the filters you’ve applied in your configuration. In this example, tasks will only be created in Any.do for meetings that match all of these conditions:

Example applied: Title contains = Interview, host = John, participant = Mary, type = External.

💾 Save Your Configuration

Click Save to activate the integration — a flash message will confirm that your configuration has been successfully added.

You can set up multiple configurations — for example, one for internal meetings and another for client calls.

👥 Team Options

Sometimes you may not want every teammate to set up their own Any.do configurations — especially when you want control over where meeting tasks go or need to keep data organized across the team. That’s where Integration Scope helps. It lets workspace admins decide whether the Any.do integration applies just to them or across the entire team.

  1. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to your Any.do configuration and select Team Options from the dropdown list.

  2. A modal window will appear with the following options:

  • Apply to entire workspace → Turn this ON to apply the Any.do integration for your whole Fireflies workspace. All the team meetings accessible by the admin will create tasks in Any.do, keeping everything consistent.

📌 Meetings that are set to private in a teammate’s Privacy Settings won’t be pushed to Any.do unless you’re a Super Admin who can access meetings irrespective of team privacy settings.

  • Restrict non-admin usage → Turn this ON to prevent non-admin members from setting up their own Any.do integrations. This helps maintain structure and avoids duplicate configurations.

  1. After setting the toggles according to your workflow, click Save to apply the changes.

Use workspace-level settings when handling sensitive meetings (like HR or client reviews) to keep access limited. Use personal configurations when teammates need to manage their own tasks independently.

🛠 Manage Configuration

Over time, you may want to adjust your Any.do integration — like renaming a configuration, updating where tasks are added, or removing ones you no longer use. Fireflies makes it easy to manage these settings in just a few clicks.

  • Edit Configuration Name → Give each Any.do configuration a clear name so it’s easy to identify — especially if you’ve connected multiple spaces or boards. Click the configuration name (for example, Default Configuration), type the new name (like Client Tasks), and click outside the field to save.

Clear names are especially helpful when you’re managing more than one configuration.

  • Edit Configuration Settings → Need to change where your meeting tasks go or how they’re organized? Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to a configuration, select Edit, update the space, board, or section, and then click Update to save your changes.

  • 🗑 Delete Configuration → If a configuration is no longer needed (for example, a project wraps up or your team moves to a different Any.do board), you can safely delete it. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the configuration, select Delete, and confirm.

Deleting a configuration means Fireflies will stop sending meeting tasks to that Any.do space, board, or section. Make sure it’s no longer in use before removing it.

Recorded_screen_1_V1 (81) (1).gif
  • 🔘 Enable or Disable a Configuration → Use the toggle switch next to a configuration to quickly control it. Toggle ON to let Fireflies create meeting tasks in your selected Any.do space, board, and section; toggle OFF to pause task creation without deleting the setup.

This is useful when you have multiple configurations — you can keep one active and pause others as needed.

📤 How Tasks Appear in Any.do

Once connected, Fireflies automatically adds your meeting action items as tasks in the selected Any.do space, board, and section. Each task includes the action item as the title, the meeting name for context, and a direct link to the recording and transcript — making it easy to review and follow up right inside Any.do.

Disconnect Integration

If you no longer need Fireflies connected to Any.do — for example, when cleaning up old integrations or switching task tools — you can disconnect it anytime with a single click.

Click the Disconnect button to remove the Any.do integration. This immediately ends the connection, and Fireflies will stop creating new tasks in Any.do.

Once disconnected, Fireflies won’t send new tasks to Any.do, but you can reconnect anytime when needed.
