This article explains how to set up the Fireflies Integration for Slack.
What is Fireflies Slack integration?
Fireflies Slack integration automatically sends automated meeting notes and summaries to a Slack channel after the meeting.
How to set up Fireflies Slack integration?
- Log in to Fireflies.
- Navigate to Integrations.
- In the search bar, type Slack and click on the Slack icon.
- Click Connect.
- Sign in to your Slack workspace.
- Select a Slack channel from your workspace.
This allows Fireflies to access your Slack workspace and enter the channel where you want Fireflies to send the meeting notes. Fireflies can also send notes as a direct message to a person or a group.
- Click Allow to authenticate Fireflies.
Note: You cannot proceed to the next step if you don’t specify the channel or person, as the Allow tab will remain disabled.
- You’ll be redirected to the Fireflies app, and will notice the Active status and a green check mark on the Slack icon. This means your integration is complete.
- To test the integration, click Insert Sample Data.
- This will push test data in the selected channel.
- To check your connection, click Test Push Flow. If you see Test push result: test successful, it means the connection is working properly.
You will also receive a test push flow message on Slack.
- Now that the integration is set up, you'll receive meeting summaries and action items in your Slack channel after each meeting.
