How to integrate Fireflies and Affinity CRM

This guide covers steps to integrate Fireflies and Affinity CRM. 

About Affinity x Fireflies integration

• Affinity is a robust relationship intelligence CRM that aids teams in managing their professional networks and deal flow. With this integration, Fireflies can automatically log meeting notes, create new contacts, and update action items directly in Affinity.

How to setup the integration

• From Fireflies dashboard, navigate to Integrations. 

• Search for Affinity.

• Click Connect.

• Then, enter the API key

• To find this, visit your Affinity portal, select your profile, and navigate to settings. 

• Click API and click Generate API to generate the new API key. 

• Copy this key, return to Fireflies, paste your API key, and click Authorize.

• Next, you'll see options to configure how meeting notes and participants are synced.
  • You can set Fireflies to create new meeting participants as new contacts in Affinity if they don't already exist in your workspace.
  • You can also opt to map notes only to existing people in your CRM. Once done, click Continue.

• You can map meeting notes to organizations. When enabled, Fireflies will map meeting notes not just to individuals, but also to organization profiles. 

• You can set Fireflies to create reminders from action items in Affinity. When this is enabled, Fireflies will generate reminders based on meeting action items. Click Continue.

• To test the integration, click Create Sample Note in Affinity. If the push is successful, it means the connection is successful. Then, click Continue.

• Click Save to Complete your Setup.

• You have now successfully integrate Affinity with Fireflies. 

• To see how your notes will appear in Affinity, navigate to All People and click on the contact.

• You'll find the notes under the Notes section. Fireflies will automatically update their profile with notes in chronological order after each meeting. This applies to organizations as well.

• Fireflies will also log notes under Organizations. You can click navigate to the Organizations page and view notes under the Notes section. 

• You can find the reminders created by Fireflies in the reminders section.
