- If a contact doesn't already exist in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Fireflies can also automatically create a new Contact object or Lead object based on user settings.
- Users can automatically create tasks in Microsoft Dynamics 365 based on key action items discussed in the meeting.

- In the search bar, type Microsoft Dynamics 365 and click it.
- Click Connect.
- Enter the URL of your Dynamics 365 environment.
- Click Authorize This Connector.
- You will be redirected to Microsoft to grant permissions to Fireflies. Once authorized, click Continue.
- The Contacts tab will open. By default, Fireflies will create a contact for any meeting participant that doesn't already exist in your Dynamics 365 CRM.
- If you prefer to create a Lead instead, enable the toggle against Create New Meeting Participant as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Lead.

- By default, if the meeting participant doesn't already exist in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Fireflies automatically creates a new Contact or Lead against them based on your preference and logs the meeting data. If you want Fireflies to log meeting data only against existing participants in Dynamics 365, enable the Log Meeting Data to Existing Contacts/Leads toggle. When this is enabled, no new contacts will be created.
- Click Continue.
- Fireflies can automatically create tasks in Microsoft Dynamics 365 based on the action items identified during your meetings without manual input. To allow this, turn on the toggle against Create Tasks.
- Click Continue.
- Now, test the integration by clicking Click to Create Sample Meeting.
- You’ll see the integration details right under the tab.
- Once the test is successful, click Continue and finish the setup process.

If you're a workspace admin, you can activate the Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration for your entire team. Follow these steps to set it up:
-
Once you’ve enabled the integration, click Team Options.
- A pop-up window will appear. By default, all team options are disabled.
Here’s how to use the toggles:
-

For complete control, turn on both toggles and click Save. This will enable Microsoft Dynamics 365 for everyone and block users from making private integrations.
How to use the Fireflies.ai x Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM integration?
Once the integration is active, Fireflies will sync meeting data to your CRM, including notes and action items.
Here’s how it works:
Fireflies identifies participants from the meeting invite and searches for matching email addresses in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Following each meeting, Fireflies automatically logs the meeting data— meeting title, transcript, audio duration, meeting overview, shorthand bullet point notes, action items, keywords, and a summary—under the relevant contact, lead, or opportunity.
If a participant is not already present in Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a Contact or a Lead object, Fireflies will automatically create the contact or lead profile and map the meeting notes to the newly created Contact or Lead.
How to view meeting notes
To access the meeting notes in Microsoft Dynamics 365, follow these steps:
- Go to your dashboard.
- Navigate to Contacts, Leads, or Opportunities based on your integration settings.
- In this case, we have chosen Leads.
- Click on the participant’s name to open their profile.
- Scroll down, and you will find a detailed history of all interactions—meeting notes, including transcripts and action items, automatically logged and organized chronologically against the object.
How to view tasks
Action items identified by Fireflies during the meeting will appear as tasks in the Tasks section. These tasks are linked to the relevant contact, lead, or opportunity, ensuring that all follow-up actions are captured.
To view and manage them, Click Tasks on the Dynamics 365 main dashboard.
How to disable the Microsoft Dynamics 365-Fireflies integration?
- Click Disable on the top right corner.
- Your Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration is now disabled. You’ll see a disabled icon under the Feature version. And the Disable button at the top right corner will change to Enable.
- To completely remove the integration, click Disconnect.
Note: Once disconnected, you must follow the setup steps again to reconnect later.
