Add Fireflies to a live meeting via mobile app

Join Fireflies to an ongoing virtual meeting directly from your phone. Perfect for when you're away from your computer but need meeting transcription and insights captured for important calls.

When to use this feature

This mobile feature is ideal when:

  • You're attending a meeting on your computer but want backup transcription

  • Someone forgot to invite Fireflies and the meeting has already started

  • You're joining a last-minute meeting that needs to be recorded

  • Your computer isn't available but you have your phone

Add Fireflies to an ongoing meeting

Before you start, ensure you have the Fireflies app installed on iOS or Android

  1. Open the Fireflies app and tap on the + button

  1. Tap Add to live meeting

  1. Enter the meeting link and select the language

    • Paste the Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet link

    • Choose your preferred transcription language

You may name the meeting as well, for later reference

  1. Tap Invite Fireflies

  1. Wait for Fireflies to join - it will appear in the meeting within a few minutes
