How to Share Meeting Transcripts with Only the People You Choose?
Last updated: April 6, 2026
Not every meeting recap needs to be shared with everyone. Whether you're sharing a client call with one person or collaborating with a specific team, Fireflies lets you control exactly who gets access to your meeting transcripts — keeping your recordings private and intentional.
🚀 How to share meeting links
1. Log in to your Fireflies account and click on the Meetings tab from the left-hand menu to open your meeting notebook.

2. Open the meeting you want to share from your Meetings notebook.

3. Click Share.

4. Click on the Privacy Setting dropdown and select Only Owner as the privacy setting value.

📌 By default, all meetings are set to "Teammates & Anyone with Link," which allows anyone with the link to view them.
Only you and the people you invite can access this meeting.
5. Next, to share this meeting with specific User Groups or enter the participant’s email address into the search box and click Invite.
