How can I get my past meetings transcribed?

If you’ve upgraded to a paid plan, you can transcribe all your past meetings that were not transcribed while you were on the Free plan. 

After upgrading to any of the paid plans (Pro or above), if you go back to the meeting, you will find the below screen:

• Click Transcribe Now. The meeting would take 5-10 minutes to process and transcribe. 

• You can view the status of your transcript from the Meeting Status tab. Once it is marked Completed, you can click on the meeting to view the transcript. 

• Fireflies also notifies you via email once the meeting is processed. Open the email and click View meeting recap to view the transcript. 

• Another way to access the transcript is by clicking the Meetings tab and then the meeting you want to view.

Rate limits

• When you transcribe past meetings on Fireflies, rate limits apply, which is 3,000 minutes/seat/source/month.

• If the team crosses the limit within the month, they’ll be charged $0.01/minute.

Why do you charge for past meetings?

We have rate limits to prevent platform abuse by individuals with high call volume while on the free tier, then expect to have everything transcribed for free by temporarily upgrading to paid plans.

This is unfair to the users who are paying customers from day one.

Will I be charged for future meetings like I am for past meetings?

No, the per-call charge only applies to past meetings. Your future meetings are transcribed at no charge for paid plan users.
