What is the Meeting Status Page?
Last updated: October 15, 2025
Ever wondered what's happening with your meeting recap after a call ends? The Meeting Status page is your go-to hub for answers, giving you a real-time look at the progress of every call Fireflies joins.
While Fireflies is fast, typically delivering summaries within minutes, delays can sometimes happen. If you feel a transcript is taking longer than expected, this page is the best first step to see its current status and understand what's going on.
⚙ How to Access and Use the Page
To get to the page, navigate to your Fireflies dashboard and select Meeting Status from the left-hand menu.
On this page, you can quickly see details for each meeting, including:
Meeting title
Date and time of the meeting
The meeting's current status
The account that invited Fred

You can also use the filters at the top of the page to sort your meetings.
Use All to sort meetings by their scheduled time.
Use All Status to sort meetings by their current status.

🧩 Understanding the Status Types
The status on each meeting tells you exactly where it is in the transcription process or why a recap might not be available. Here’s what each status means
Completed - Fireflies finished processing the transcript. You can now view the transcript in your Meetings tab.
Processing - Fireflies is still working on creating the transcript. This typically takes a few minutes but may take longer based on meeting length.
Active - The meeting is currently ongoing. If you are the meeting host, you can click Stop to end the recording or select Open the Live Transcript to view the real-time transcription.
Denied Entry - Fireflies was denied entry into the meeting (e.g., the meeting host or a participant declined its admission).
Not allowed in - The bot was left in the waiting room without a response.
Meeting was too short - Fireflies generates recaps only for meetings longer than 3 minutes. If your meeting was shorter, no recap will be sent.
Unable to Connect - The meeting did not happen.
Invalid meeting link - The meeting link is not correct.

🛠 Troubleshooting
Why is my meeting stuck on Processing?
Fireflies typically finishes processing a transcript within five to ten minutes after a meeting ends. If it seems to be taking longer, the most common reason is a weak or unstable internet connection.
Here’s what you can do:
Check your current internet connection status.
If your Wi-Fi is slow or unstable, try waiting a bit or connecting to a different, more stable network.
If you are using a 4G network, try switching to a Wi-Fi or wired LAN connection for better stability.
