Troubleshooting your login and account access

Last updated: April 20, 2026

Having trouble logging in to your Fireflies account? Here’s a quick guide to help you troubleshoot common login issues and get back to your meetings.

Log in with Google or Microsoft

Fireflies supports Single Sign-On (SSO) with Google and Microsoft accounts. To log in, you’ll need to use one of these services.

Steps to log in with SSO:

  1. Open the Fireflies login page

  2. Click on Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft depending on the account you want to use

  3. Follow the prompts to log in with your Google or Microsoft credentials

Why am I being redirected to my organization's SSO login after signing in with Google or Microsoft?

If SSO is enforced for your domain, users will be automatically redirected to your organization’s SSO login after completing Google or Microsoft authentication.

This happens because once OAuth authentication succeeds, Fireflies checks whether your domain has an enforced SSO configuration. If it does, the system redirects you to complete authentication through your organization’s identity provider.

How can I avoid automatic SSO redirects?

If you do not want to be redirected automatically, use your organization’s unique SSO login link instead of signing in through Google or Microsoft.

Troubleshoot your browser

Sometimes login issues can be caused by your browser settings, extensions, or cache. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

  1. Clear your cache and cookies

Cached data and cookies can cause login problems. Clearing them often resolves the issue. Here’s how to clear your browser’s cache and cookies:

    • For Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data. Choose All time and check the boxes for Cookies and Cache

    • For Firefox: Go to Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data

    • For Safari: Go to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data > Remove All

  2. Use incognito or private browsing mode

Sometimes, browser extensions can interfere with logging in. Open an incognito or private browsing window and try logging in again

Shortcut – Ctrl+Shift+N for Windows or Cmd+Shift+N for Mac

  3. Disable extensions

Some browser extensions can block login processes. Try disabling all extensions temporarily to see if this resolves the issue

  4. Try a different browser

If none of the above work, try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. Chrome, Firefox, and Safari are all supported

Check your login credentials

Make sure you’re using the correct login credentials for your Google or Microsoft account. If you’re logged into multiple accounts, Fireflies may use the wrong one.

  • If you’re logged into multiple Google or Microsoft accounts, ensure you’re selecting the correct account for Fireflies

  • Log out of all accounts and try logging in again using your desired credentials
