Intro to Fireflies Microsoft Teams integration
- Fireflies Microsoft Teams integration automatically sends automated meeting notes and summaries to a channel in Microsoft Teams after the meeting.
How to set up Fireflies Microsoft Teams integration?
- Log in to Fireflies.
- Navigate to Integrations.
- In the search bar, type Teams and select Microsoft Teams.
- Click Connect.
- Authenticate your Teams account
- You’ll be redirected to the Fireflies app, and will notice the Active status and a green check mark on the Teams icon. This means your integration is complete.
- Next, select the Team and the Channel where you want to receive the meeting notes, and then click Save Settings.
Note: For Fireflies to be able to post meeting notes like a bot in your Microsoft Teams channel, you need to add the Fireflies app to your Teams account. This is a requirement by Microsoft Teams.
- Once you’ve saved the settings, log in from the Microsoft Teams app or from the Teams website to add the Fireflies app. Here, we have logged in from the Microsoft Teams application.
- Click Apps.
- Search for Fireflies. Select the Fireflies AI app and click Add.
- Within the Fireflies AI popup, Click on Add to a Team.
- Select a Team or Channel name from the drop-down. Here, we’ve selected Fireflies - MS Teams.
- Next, click Set up a Bot.
- Click OK to accept the Notification.
- Fireflies will now send post-meeting messages to the Fireflies - MS Teams channel.
- After adding Fireflies to Microsoft Teams, go to the Fireflies Teams integration page to test the connection. Click Test Push Flow. If successful, you will receive a test successful message.
- You will now receive a test message within the Teams Channel.
