1. What are AskFred Apps?
AskFred Apps are a type of Fireflies AI Skill that run preset prompts in the AskFred chat window automatically after each meeting.
If you're always asking Fred to generate follow-ups, find blockers, or extract key questions—you can now automate that.
🧩 Pre-requisite
Before you can automate AskFred prompts:
You need to be on a paid Fireflies plan.
If you’re on a free plan, you get 20 AI credits per month. Each app run deducts 1 credit.

2. How to automate a frequently used AskFred prompt
Here’s how to turn a question into a reusable AskFred App:
Type the question (e.g., “Write a follow-up email for this meeting”)
Click Automate and Name your app, add a description
Click Save - You’ll now see this under AI Skills on your dashboard.

✅ That’s it—Fred will now auto-run this prompt on all future meetings you record or upload.
📌 All automated AskFred answers will show up in the AskFred tab for each meeting, ready for review.
3. How to manage AskFred Apps
Go to Apps > AI Skills
Find your AskFred App (tagged clearly)
Use the toggle to enable/disable it

Select 3-dot menu to customise to edit the prompt. Make changes and click Save.

Use the 3-dot menu to delete the app.
Note: As an Admin, you can follow the same steps to delete any apps created by users in your workspace
