How to integrate Fireflies with Zoom Phone

This guide explains how to integrate Zoom Phone with Fireflies.
What is the Fireflies - Zoom Phone integration?
The Fireflies - Zoom Phone integration will allow Zoom Phone call recordings to be automatically pulled, transcribed, and converted into meeting notes in Fireflies.
How to integrate Zoom Phone with Fireflies
- From the Fireflies dashboard, click Integrations.
Note: Ensure that one Fireflies account is connected to only one Zoom Phone account. If multiple accounts are linked, the integration will not function as expected.
- Search for Zoom Phone within the search bar and click on it.
- Click Connect.
- Click Authorize This Connector.
- You’ll be redirected back to Zoom. Enable the Allow this app to use my shared access permissions toggle, and click Allow to provide Fireflies with respective permissions to pull in call recordings.
- After you click Allow, you’ll be redirected to Fireflies. Click Continue.
- Click Complete.
- You will now see a green tick mark on the Zoom Phone icon, indicating that the integration has been completed successfully.
How the integration works
- From the Zoom Phone app, call a person in your Contacts.
- Ensure that you’ve pressed Record within Zoom.
Note:
- Calls need to be recorded by Zoom for Fireflies to pull the data.
- The calls need to be a minimum of 1 minute long for Fireflies to generate transcripts.
- After the call ends, the recorded audio will be sent to the Fireflies Notebook.
- You’ll see the transcripts, summaries, and notes within the Fireflies Notebook.
How to disable the Fireflies - Zoom Phone Integration
Disabling the Fireflies - Zoom Phone Integration will disconnect the connection between your Zoom Phone account and Fireflies account, and stop the automatic transcription & note-taking of your Zoom Phone calls by Fireflies. Existing transcripts and notes will remain accessible in your Fireflies account until and unless you choose to delete them.
Removing the app:
- Log into your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Click Manage.
- Click on the Added apps Section and click Remove next to Fireflies.ai for Zoom Phone.

Why are my Zoom Phone calls not being transcribed or generating summaries in Fireflies?
If your Zoom Phone calls are not being transcribed or summaries are not appearing in Fireflies, please ensure that you record your calls in Zoom Phone. Once your Fireflies and Zoom Phone integration is successfully configured, recorded calls will automatically be pulled into Fireflies for transcription and generating summaries.
