This guide covers steps to set up Close.io and Fireflies integration.
Get the Close.io API key
To connect Close.io and Fireflies, you need the Close.io API key and the CRM domain name. Here are the steps to get them:
- Log in to Close.io. From the left sidebar, click on Settings.
- From Settings, go to Connect, and click Developer.
- Click New API Key.
- Name the API key and click Create API Key.
- Copy the API key. You are now ready to set up the integration.
Note: For security reasons, the Close API key will not be displayed again. So, make sure to store it safely.
Set up Close.io and Fireflies integration
- Log in to your Fireflies account and then click Integrations. On the Integrations page, find Close.io and click on it.
- Paste Your Close.io API key and click Connect.
- This completes the integration. Notice the green check mark on the Close.io icon and the Active status.
- Fireflies will now automatically log notes under the appropriate contact in Close.io.
Note: Meetings with internal participants and those recorded via the Chrome extension or Add to Live are logged under fred@fireflies.ai.

1. Test Close.io Fireflies integration
Insert Sample data
- Click Insert Sample data.
- Within Close.io, under contacts, a new contact from Fireflies is created.
2. Resync past meetings
- Click on Resync past meetings to sync notes of all past meetings in Close.io.
