This guide explains how to integrate Greenhouse with Fireflies.
What is Fireflies Greenhouse integration?
Fireflies Greenhouse integration automatically sends meeting data and summaries to relevant candidate profiles in your Greenhouse ATS.
How to integrate Greenhouse with Fireflies
- From the Fireflies dashboard, click Integrations.
- Search for Greenhouse within the search bar and click on it.
- Click Connect.
- Once you click connect, you will need to enter the Harvest API key and User ID from the Greenhouse dashboard. Here’s how to do that:
Create the API Key in Greenhouse
- Login to the Greenhouse dashboard. Click on Settings.
- Click Dev Center.
- Click API Credentials.
- Click Create new API key.
- Enter the API type as Harvest, Partner as Custom and Description a default description. Then click Manage permissions.
- Copy and save the API key in a secure location. Note that the API key will only be visible once. If you don’t copy it, you’ll need to create a new one if required later.
- Next, Click on Edit API to add permissions.
- Under Manage permissions select Candidates from Harvest V1:
- Click Save.
- Go to the Fireflies dashboard and paste the API key.
Get the Greenhouse User ID
- Login to the Greenhouse dashboard. Click on Settings.
- Click Users.
- Click the user listed.
- Copy the User Id from the URL.
- Go to the Fireflies dashboard and paste the User Id.
- Click Authorize this integration.
- If you’re the admin, you’ll now see the Authorize this integration button turn green, along with Additional Options.
- Enable the Apply to entire workspace toggle from the Additional options and click Continue to apply the integration for the entire workspace.
Note: These two steps are only visible to admins. Everyone else will see the Continue option.
- Click Continue.
Note: By default, Fireflies will create a new candidate in Greenhouse when no existing candidate is found. Toggle this switch OFF to prevent automatic candidate creation.
- Click the Create Sample Meeting to verify the integration.
- You will now see a processed message. The notes will be logged as a prospect.
- Click Continue.
- Click Complete.
- You will now see a green color tick mark on the Greenhouse icon, indicating that the integration has been completed successfully.
- To view the candidates added during the Test connection, click on CRM, and select Prospect Without a Pool.
- Here, you will find the candidate added during the test integration.
- You can find the meeting notes logged under the Activity feed.
How to disable Greenhouse integration
- Go to Integrations and open the Greenhouse integration.
- Click Disable on the top right corner.
- Your Greenhouse integration is now disabled. You’ll see a disabled icon under Current Configuration.
- To enable it again, just click Enable on the top right.
Note:
- If you want to change the API key or User ID after the integration, click Disconnect, follow the above integration steps again.
