How to integrate OneDrive with Fireflies
Last updated: October 21, 2025
Effortlessly send your Fireflies meeting transcripts, summaries, and recordings to your OneDrive — all organized neatly into subfolders. Whether you want backups, workflows, or team-wide visibility, this integration’s got you covered.
🔍 What does the OneDrive integration do?
The OneDrive integration lets you automatically:
Push transcripts, summaries, and recordings to specific OneDrive folders
Or pull audio/video files from OneDrive to transcribe them inside Fireflies
You can choose what data to sync, where to send it, and even apply smart rules so only certain meetings are included.
💡 On Business plans or above, if a video is available, Fireflies will now save that instead of audio.
And to keep things tidy, Fireflies will also auto-create subfolders (like recordings, transcripts, summaries) inside your chosen folder.
🚀 Step-by-Step: How to Set Up the OneDrive Integration
Go to the Fireflies Integrations tab from your dashboard

Search for onedrive and click on the card

Click Connect and Sign in with your Microsoft account and click Accept

You'll be redirected back to Fireflies, where you configure your integration as described below
📁 Configure the Integration
Step 1: Choose your action
There are two options here:
Send meeting data to OneDrive: Automatically export transcripts, summaries, and recordings after each meeting. (we have chosen this for the demo below)
Pull recordings from OneDrive: If you store call recordings in OneDrive (say, from Zoom or MS Teams), Fireflies can pull them and generate transcripts + summaries.

🧠 You can create multiple configurations — one for each action — to run both flows in parallel if needed. Just click “+ Add Config” again after saving the first one.
Step 2: Select source or destination folder
Depending on the action you selected:
If you're sending data to OneDrive, choose a destination folder (Fireflies will drop files here, and auto-create subfolders like recordings or summaries if needed).
If you're pulling files from OneDrive, pick a source folder — this is where Fireflies should look for your uploads.
📂 Example: You can push all internal meeting notes to
/Team Docs/Fireflies Summariesand pull recordings from/Zoom Recordings.
Step 3: Choose your meeting output preferences
Next, define what content should be synced:
Save meeting transcript: Toggle this on to send the transcript (available for all plans)
Save meeting recording: Toggle this on to send audio or video. (Video is used if available and you're on a Business plan or higher.)
Save meeting summary: Toggle on if you also want the summary file saved to OneDrive.
These settings ensure only the outputs you care about are stored.

Step 4: Customize formatting & apply filters (optional)
Click Additional Options to go further.
🎯 Apply filters to decide which meetings get synced
Note: ⚠ Integration rules are available only for Business & Enterprise plans.
You can choose:
All Meetings (default)
Or apply filters by Meeting Title, Host, Participants, or Meeting Type (internal vs external)

You can stack multiple filters with AND/OR logic.
Example: Only sync meetings hosted by Alex that include “Client Sync” in the title.
📄 Choose output formats
Select file formats for both transcript and summary:
Options: PDF, DOCX, JSON, CSV, SRT
Example: Use CSV if you want to post-process data in Sheets; use PDF for a polished snapshot.
You can also:
✅ Include timestamps in transcript
✅ Include speaker markers for better readability

✅ Step 5: Save and name your configuration
Once done, click Save. Your config is now active.
✏ You can always rename a config to keep things organized — e.g., “Client Recordings Only” or “Pull Zoom Uploads”.

To add a second configuration (e.g., for the other action type), click + Add Config.

👥 How to apply OneDrive for your entire team
If you're a workspace admin, you can control how this integration works for your entire team.
Once OneDrive is connected:
Click the 3-dot menu → choose Team Options
You'll see two toggles:
Apply to entire workspace: All team meetings accessible by the admin are synced to Drive.
Restrict non-admin usage: Prevent other team members from creating their own OneDrive configurations
Enable the toggles you need, then click Save

🛑 How to disable or disconnect OneDrive
To pause syncing: Toggle off the config using the switch.
To fully remove: Click Disconnect at the top of the integration screen.

✅ What Happens After Integration?
Once set up, Fireflies will automatically send your selected meeting outputs to OneDrive after every meeting.
Everything will land in the right folder without you lifting a finger.
