What is monday.com?
- monday.com is a multi-purpose project management platform used by businesses to manage tasks and get work done.
- It allows you to create boards and groups of tasks/projects to track their progress.
- The Fireflies integration helps you create new tasks inside boards, triggered by discussions of specific topics during meetings.

How to integrate monday.com with Fireflies
- Log in to your Fireflies account and go to Integrations.
- On the Integrations page, search for the monday.com integration.
- To set up monday.com, the Fireflies app must first be installed on monday.com. You can install the app by clicking here.
- Or, from the monday.com integration page, click Click To Install.
- This will redirect you to a new window.
- Choose which monday.com workspaces you want Fireflies to access and click Install.
Choose All workspaces so Fireflies will be available to all current and future workspaces.
Important: Only the monday.com admin can install the app for the entire workspace.
- Once the app is installed, head back to the monday.com integration page on Fireflies and complete the integration by clicking Connect.
- You'll be redirected to monday.com. Login to your account.
- Click Authorize to give Fireflies access and modify your monday.com boards.
You have successfully enabled the monday.com integration. You'll notice the Active badge and a green tick on the monday.com integration on Fireflies.

Settings to automatically create tasks on monday.com
- On the monday.com integration page, select a board where you want Fireflies to create new tasks.
- Select the group where the item would be created.
- Select at least one Topic so that Fireflies can create items based on mentions of these keywords. Voice commands are the Topics selected by default.

Note: You can only choose one monday.com board and group at a time.

- Click Save Settings.
Your Fireflies and monday.com integration is now ready.
Test your Fireflies and monday.com integration
There are two ways to test if your integration is working properly.
First method: Test Push FLow
- From the monday.com integration page on Fireflies, click Test Push Flow. This helps verify that data is transferring smoothly from Fireflies to monday.com.
- Go to your monday.com board. You should see two new tasks under your selected group.
Second method: Insert Sample Data
- From the monday.com integration page on Fireflies, click Insert Sample Data. This simulates the transfer of data from Fireflies meetings to monday.com.
- Go to your monday.com board. You should see Fireflies Sample Data within your selected group.

- Based on the topics you’ve selected, Fireflies will create tasks within your monday.com account under the chosen board and group.
