In this guide, we will explain the difference between Custom Vocabulary and Topic Tracker.
What is Custom Vocabulary?
Custom Vocabulary allows you to add unique names or words that you frequently use in calls and want the system to accurately transcribe.
- Custom Vocabulary trains Fireflies to accurately capture these words in the transcript.
- You can access Custom Vocabulary from Settings>AI customization.
Note: Fireflies does not train its AI model with your data. Read our Policy on keeping your information safe.
- Enter the words in the dialogue box and press Enter.
- Click Delete to remove all the words at once.
- Click Edit to delete one or more words.
- When you click Edit, you’ll see a cross mark next to each word. Click the cross mark next to the word you want to delete. Once done, click Save.
What is Topic Tracker?
- Topic Tracker allows you to monitor specific keywords in your meetings. For example, you can set up a topic Voice Commands and add keywords like follow up, next steps, create a task, remind me, etc.
- Whenever these words are mentioned during a call, they are tracked, and you get a count of how many times the keywords were spoken. You can also use them as filters to pull up only the sections of the transcript where these keywords are mentioned.
