This guide gives an overview of the Uploads feature in Fireflies.
The Uploads feature
- The Uploads feature lets you upload any file, past meetings, or your favorite podcast, as long as it is in the supported format.
1. Supported file formats
- MP3, M4A, WAV, or MP4.
2. File size and duration limits
Plan | Max size | Max duration |
Free | <=100MB | <=150 mins |
Pro/Business Tier | <=1.5GB (video), <=200MB (audio) | <=150 mins |
3. Rate Limits
An audio processing limit applies to users in the paid plan when they upload and transcribe files. The rate limits are as follows:

- Per user limit: 3,000 minutes/mo.
- Overage: $0.01/minute after 3,000 minutes.
- Team cap: 3,000 minutes/seat/source/mo.
- Overage: $0.01/minute after 150,000 minutes.
- Per user limit: 3,000 minutes/mo.
Note:
- Rate limits reset at the beginning of every month.
- The minutes used are calculated based on the file duration.
- The unused minutes don’t roll over to the next month.
