Why did I get a meeting recap from Fireflies if I don’t have an account?

It is likely that you were a participant in a meeting with someone who is a Fireflies user.

To check who the Fireflies user is, go to the transcript email (meeting recap email). You can see the name of the person who invited Fireflies to the meeting.

If you don't wish to receive meeting recaps via email, ask the meeting organizer to change their Send email recap setting.

You can ask them to change the sharing setting to Only Me to keep the transcript private, or Only me and participants from my team to share it only with their team members, instead of all participants.

However, in most cases, this might not be feasible.

Therefore, we recommend unsubscribing by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email or here.

1. Enter your email ID.

2. Fireflies will send you an email to choose your communication preferences. Click on the URL in the email.

3. Uncheck Meeting recaps if you don't want to receive meeting recap emails.

4. Click Update email preferences.
