How to customize Dropbox integration settings
From the same page, set up your integration. Select the:
- Transcription format: PDF, DPCX, SRT, CSV, or JSON.
- Save to folder: You can choose your existing folder in Dropbox or create a new one. Fireflies, by default, creates a new folder named Fireflies.ai Transcripts. Here it will save the meeting transcript and the audio file.
- Choose whether you want timestamps and speaker labels in the transcript by toggling on/off. By default, they are turned on.
- If you want Fireflies to save the meeting audio, enable the toggle next to Save Audio.
- Choose the Audio folder. Fireflies, by default, creates a new folder called Fireflies.ai Audio. Fireflies will transcribe any file saved in this folder. Rate limits apply.
Note: We suggest you turn all the toggles on if you want to keep all your data.
- Click Save Settings.
- Notice the folders in your Dropbox account.
- Click on Insert Sample Data to test the integration.
- Your transcript and audio file will be in the Fireflies.ai Transcripts folder.
- Open the transcript to view it. It will have speaker labels and timestamps.
- Click Test Push Flow.
- The integration is successful if you see the Test successful, integration works as expected message.
Transcribe audio files uploaded to Dropbox
In addition to pushing transcripts and recordings from Fireflies to Dropbox, you can also automatically transcribe audio calls uploaded to a particular folder. For this example, we will upload a file to the default folder, Fireflies.ai Audio, created by Fireflies.
- Upload the files in the folder. Fireflies supports MP4, MP3, .WAV, and M4A.
- After a few minutes, you’ll see the files transcribed in the My Meetings channel, with the name dropbox/File name.
