If you're using a dialer/telephony service that records calls/voicemails and has a Zapier integration, Fireflies can transcribe those recordings seamlessly.
Note: You need a paid Fireflies plan to set up any Zapier integration.
How to integrate Telephony/Dialers with Fireflies using Zapier
Before we start, ensure you have Zapier integration access permissions for the dialer service you are using. Also make sure that the dialer supports “New call recording” as a trigger while creating a new Zap.
Step 1: Setup your Trigger
- Go to Zapier and log in to your account.
- Go to Zaps and click Create.
- Click New Zap.
- Click Trigger.
- Search for your dialer and select it.
- Select New call recording as your trigger event.
- Connect/Log in to your dialer’s account.
- Test your trigger to see if it’s working properly.
Step 2: Setup your Action
- Click Action.
- Search for Fireflies.ai and select it.
- Click Event and choose Upload Audio.
- Log in to your Fireflies account to connect it with Zapier.
- Under the Action tab, select Recording file for mandatory fields Audio URL Link and Title.
- Click the Test step to test if your integration is set up correctly.
- Once you’re satisfied, Click Publish to publish your Zap.
Now, every time you record a new call with your dialer, Fireflies will automatically upload and transcribe it with zero manual effort.
You can find all your recording transcripts under the My Meetings channel on the Fireflies web app.
Fireflies will also notify you via email as soon as it transcribes a file uploaded from the dialer recordings.
