Fireflies allows you to share your meeting transcript with people who don’t use Fireflies. They can access the transcript via a meeting link. They can access transcripts via a meeting link without having to create a Fireflies account.
What can non-Fireflies users access in a meeting recap?
Here’s what non-Fireflies users can view in the meeting recap without logging in:
- Full meeting transcript
- Audio recording and playback controls.
- Limited meeting summary. They’ll only be able to view the meeting overview and keywords.
Here’s what they don’t have access to:
- Complete meeting summary with action items, notes, and outline.
- Meeting video recording (Fireflies records meeting videos only for Business and Enterprise plan users).
- Soundbites created from the meeting.
- Transcript search to look for specific keywords or phrases.
- AI filters, sentiment filters, and speaker labels to filter the transcript.

How to share meeting recaps with non-Fireflies users?
- Log in to your Fireflies account and click Meetings.
- Click the meeting you want to share.
- Click Share in the top right corner.
- A pop-up window will open.
- Set your meeting privacy to Public. This is essential; otherwise, the meeting link will not work for non-Fireflies users.
- Click Copy Link to copy the meeting recap link.
- You can now share the link via email, messaging apps, or any other platform you prefer.

Anyone with the meeting link can view the meeting transcript and listen to the audio recording.
Note: Don’t worry. You will not be charged if a non-user views or accesses your shared recap.
