This guide covers the steps to change the Billing Admin (Paying User) in Fireflies.
What is a Billing Admin?
The Billing Admin manages subscriptions, payments, and billing details for your team. This user has control over invoices and payment methods.
If the current Billing Admin changes roles, leaves the company, or needs to transfer billing responsibilities, you can assign a new Billing Admin from the Fireflies dashboard.
Steps to change the Billing Admin details
Follow these steps to update the Billing Admin in Fireflies:
- Click Settings from the Fireflies dashboard.
- Click Billing.
- Click Edit Details.
- Click Change to change the billing admin.
- Click Assign to assign billing details to a new admin.
Note: You can also update card details by clicking the Update link in the modal.
- Click Yes to confirm.
Note: Once reassigned, only the new Billing Admin can update this setting. You will no longer have access to change it.
- The new Billing Admin will now see the billing section in their Settings.
