What is the Fireflies-Google Drive integration?
The Fireflies-Google Drive integration automatically syncs your meeting transcripts and recordings to Google Drive, making it easy to access and manage your meeting content in one place.
How to integrate Fireflies with Google Drive?
- Log in to Fireflies and click Integrations.
- Search for Google Drive within the search bar and click it.
- Click Connect.
- Click Authorize this connector.
- You'll be redirected to Google to authorize Fireflies. Click on the Google account you want to connect to.
- Grant the necessary permissions by clicking Allow.
- Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to the Fireflies app integration page. Click Continue
- Under Meeting Output Preferences, toggle the information you want to send to Google Drive:
- Transcripts
- Audio recordings
- Meeting Summary
- Next, click Advanced Options.
A pop-up will appear. From here, configure:
- Transcript format (CSV, SRT, JSON, PDF, or DOC)
- Timestamp inclusion
- Speaker labels
- Next, configure Summary Format. For now, meeting summaries can be saved in PDF only.
- Click Continue.
- Click Continue
- Click Complete.
- That's it! You'll see a green tick mark on the Google Drive icon along with the integration details, indicating that the integration is active.
How does this integration work?
After every meeting, Fireflies will automatically send your meeting content to Google Drive. Here's how the integration works:
Once your meeting ends, Fireflies will process the recording and create the transcript. The system will automatically create a Fireflies Meetings folder in your Google Drive and upload your files there.
- Your content will be organized as follows:
- Meeting transcripts will be saved in the Transcripts subfolder
- The audio of your meeting will be saved in the Recordings subfolder
- Meeting summaries will be saved in the Summaries subfolder
- All your team members with access to the Google Drive folder can view and collaborate on the meeting content.
How to disable the Fireflies-Google Drive integration?
To turn off the Fireflies-Google Drive integration,
- Click Disable on the top right corner.
- Your Google Drive integration is now disabled. You'll see a disabled icon under Current Configuration.
- To enable it again, click Enable on the top right.
- To completely remove the integration, click Disconnect.
Clicking Disconnect will require you to follow the setup steps again if you choose to reconnect later.
