What is Jira-Fireflies integration?
- The Fireflies-Jira integration extracts action items from your meetings and automatically creates tasks or issues in the appropriate Jira project.
How to integrate Jira with Fireflies?
- Log into your Fireflies account and open Integrations from the left-side navigation bar.
- Search for Jira.
- Open Jira and click Connect.
- Click Authorize this connector. You will be redirected to Jira.
- Log into your Jira account and grant Fireflies permission to manage, view, and update your Jira account.
- Return to Fireflies.ai and click Continue.
- Select the Project to which you want to push the meeting data and action items. Click Continue.
- Select the Issue Type and click Continue.
- In this guide, we have selected GMT New Product as the Project and Task as the Issue Type.
- Next, click Create a sample issue in Jira and test the integration.
- Navigate back to Jira to verify if the issue has been created. It will look something like this:
The issue will contain details such as the owner, the time mentioned, the action items, and the meeting URL.
- Once the testing is done, navigate back to Fireflies and click Continue.
- Click Complete.
- The integration is complete.
- You can connect more projects to Fireflies by clicking Connect and following the same steps as above.
How to disable the Fireflies-Jira integration?
- Go to Integrations and open the Jira integration.
- Click Disable on the top right corner.
- Your Jira integration is now disabled. You’ll see a disabled icon under Current Configuration.
- To enable it again, click Enable on the top right.
- To completely remove the integration, click Disconnect.
- Clicking Disconnect will require you to follow the setup steps again if you choose to reconnect later.
