The Contacts feature allows users to manage their contacts efficiently in Fireflies. It provides a central tab to filter, search, and sort contacts, view AI-generated bios, and keep track of upcoming and past meetings, along with their summaries.
Where is the Contacts feature?
- The Contacts feature is located on your Fireflies dashboard.
How to search Contacts in Fireflies?
You can search contacts in two ways:
- Using filters
- Manual search
Using filters
- Click the All dropdown to filter contacts based on My Company, External, or All Contacts.
My Company: All the contacts in your workspace.
External: All the contacts that are not a part of your workspace but you’ve had a meeting with.
All: This includes all internal or external contacts.
- Click the category you want, and Fireflies will filter the contacts.
- Click the dropdown next to the search bar to sort the contacts by name or recency.
Recent: All the contacts you’ve met recently.
Name: Use this filter to alphabetically arrange the contacts.
Manual search
- Type the contact in the search bar to manually search contacts in Fireflies
Contacts view panel
The contacts view panel opens on the right side of the screen when a user clicks on the contact. It contains all the contact details—AI-generated bios, a timeline of past and upcoming meetings with the contact, and meeting summaries. Users can update the bios and the contact name directly from the contact panel.
- To access the panel, click on the contact.
- The panel will open on the right side of the dashboard.
From the panel, you can:
- Schedule meetings by clicking Schedule or the calendar icon.
- See upcoming meetings.
- Access the contact’s AI-generated bio.
- Email the contact by clicking the email icon.
- Access meeting activity and summaries.
- Click the My meetings dropdown to view all the contact's meetings or only your meetings with the contact.
- To view all meetings, select All meetings. By default, it is set to My meetings.
- Clicking on any meeting will open the notepad with all the details, including the meeting transcript and recording.
