This guide gives an overview of how to use AskFred to answer questions across all meetings.

How to enable AskFred for all meetings
- Go to Settings>Fireflies labs.
- Enable AskFred for all your meetings toggle.
- The AskFred checkbox will now appear next to the search bar
Note:
- If you're enabling AskFred for all meetings the first time, please allow 5-10 minutes for the system to prepare it.
- AskFred requires AI credits as it incurs variable costs based on the query complexity and the amount of data searched in your meeting records.
- Contact our support team if you've any further questions.
How to use AskFred
- Enable the AskFred checkbox.
- Enter a query within the search box and press Enter.
1. Points to remember
- AskFred searches across all meetings from the last 30 days.
- It does not currently support channel-specific search. Searches include meetings from all channels in the past 30 days.
2. Do’s and Don’ts

Note: Using dates and meeting titles within search queries is currently not supported, but is planned for a future release.
3. Sample questions
- What were recent pain points brought up by customers and list timestamps
- Can you list the top 5 feature requests that came up recently?
- What were the key topics discussed during the meeting?
- Can you provide a summary of the action items assigned in the meeting?
- Were there any challenges or concerns raised during the meeting?
- What decisions were made or conclusions reached in the meeting?
- Can you highlight any important questions that were asked during the meeting?
- Were there any notable feedback or suggestions shared during the meeting?
- What were the main objectives or goals of the meeting?
- Can you identify any recurring themes or patterns in the meeting discussions?
- Were there any specific individuals who played significant roles or contributed extensively to the meeting?

How to share feedback
If you receive an unsatisfactory answer from AskFred, you can provide feedback to help improve the algorithms:
- Click the thumbs-down button below the answer.
- Explain why the answer was unsatisfactory and select a category. Click "Share Feedback" to send your question, the answer, and feedback to our team.
Note: When sharing feedback you agree to send us the question you asked as well as the answer you received.
