This guide explains what happens when a teammate is deactivated from Fireflies.
You can deactivate a team member by navigating to the Team section on the Fireflies dashboard and clicking the Deactivate button next to the team member's name.

What happens when a team member is deactivated?
Account level changes:
- Account Status: Once deactivated, the user is moved to the Free plan, and their account is separate from the team's workspace.
- Access: Deactivated members can't access team meetings or the workspace.
- Account Deletion: If the user doesn't reactivate within 30 days, their account and meetings will be deleted.
Status and permissions:
- Inviting Others: Deactivated members can't invite colleagues to the admin's paid team plan.
Meetings and recordings:
- Login Access: Deactivated members can still log into their individual Fireflies account.
- Meeting Access: Deactivated members lose access to team meetings and the workspace.
