To configure the SAML-based SSO for Fireflies with Azure AD follow the steps below

Sign in to the Azure portal.

In the left navigation pane, select Microsoft Entra ID.

Select Enterprise Applications.

The Enterprise applications – All applications page appears. Select New application.
- Click Create your own application.
- In the Name box, enter a name for the application that you want to configure with Azure AD

Select the (Non-gallery) option from the radio box and click Create.

In the navigation pane of the application page, select Single sign-on.

The Select a single sign-on method section appears. Now select SAML.
- The Set up Single Sign-On with SAML section appears. From the Basic SAML configuration section, click the Edit icon.

The Basic SAML Configuration window appears. Click on Add identifier.
- Enter a unique ID. Note: This ID will be used in the saml.config file for the service provider name. Therefore, note the ID. Please enter the ID as fireflies.ai
- Next, click Add reply URL.
- Enter the application callback URL where the response will be posted. For now,
you can enter a dummy URL e.g. https://app.fireflies.ai/sampletest

Select Save. Close the Basic SAML Configuration page.

Now scroll down to Set up Test SSO app. Copy the Login URL . You will need this URL on Fireflies.

Scroll to SAML Certificates. Here you will see an option to download your certificates. Download the Certificate (Base64). You will need the downloaded .cer file later on Fireflies.

Open a new tab/window and head over to the following URL: https://app.fireflies.ai/auth/sso
- Enter your email address and verify your domain.
- Next, paste the Login URL that you copied from Azure into the IDP Sign-in URL field on Fireflies. Next, upload the .cer file that you downloaded from Azure on the Add X.509 certificate field on Fireflies, and click on Configure SSO.

You will now receive the Post-back URL and Login URL. Copy the Post-back URL.

Head back to Azure and go to Basic SAML Configuration. Replace the previous sample URL under Reply URL with the URL that you copied from Fireflies (Post-back URL)
- Click on Save. Your SSO setup should now be complete.
- Your users can now use the Login URL from app.fireflies.ai/auth/sso to sign up and log into Fireflies. Before they sign up and log in, make sure to assign those users to the Fireflies application on Azure.
