This guide gives an overview of what voice commands are and how to use them during meetings.
What are voice commands?
Voice commands is a type of Topic Tracker that lets you create tasks in project management tools, CRM's or any of these work apps by mentioning specific keywords during meetings.
Example:
If you set up a voice command like "remind me" and say, "Remind me to follow up with John," Fireflies will automatically create a task in tools like Asana after the meeting.
Prerequisites
- Before the meeting, you must:
- Set up voice commands
- Enable integrations with your project management tools.
This ensures Fireflies can create tasks using your voice commands.
- Fireflies will add tasks in the project management apps after the meeting is processed.
- Only users on the Pro plan and above can create and edit Topic Tracker.
Where to find voice commands?
- You can find voice commands from Home> Topic Tracker > My Topics
Common voice commands
Fireflies includes several pre-configured action-oriented keywords by default, such as:
-
Task:
Any mention of the word "task" during the meeting creates a new task in your integrated project management tool. -
Action item:
Flags the statement as an action item and creates a corresponding task. -
Follow-up:
Automatically creates a follow-up task with relevant details. -
Custom Keywords:
You can define custom phrases that fit your workflow, such as "send report," "schedule meeting," or others.
