You can configure how Fireflies joins your meetings. Always consider what kinds of meetings you want Fireflies to record and transcribe.

1. Go to app.fireflies.ai.

2. Sign up with Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar.



3. Log in with your credentials. (Read How to Sign Up or Log In to Fireflies.)

4. On the menu to the left, click Settings.



Configure Your Autojoin Settings

If you are using Gmail, Live, or Outlook, you will have the following options:

1. Join all that have a meeting link
2. Join only those that I own
3. Join only when I invite fred@fireflies.ai

If you are using your company email, you will have the following options:

1. Join all that have a meeting link
2. Join only those that I own
3. Join only when I invite fred@fireflies.ai
4. Join only internal events with CompanyDomain.com teammates
5. Join only external events with non-CompanyDomain.com teammates


Our system will detect which meetings are with teammates and which meetings are with external folks based on the email domains of the other participants on the meeting invite.

Take into account what the meeting is about, what information is to be shared, and who your participants are.


Manual Setting

Join only when I invite fred@fireflies.ai is manual. This means you have to invite fred@fireflies.ai as a guest every time you wish for it to join a specific meeting.
